Mobile telephony market leader safaricom has protested the methodology used to arrive at the recent rankings of mobile service providers, that saw rival Airtel emerge tops in a quality of service survey conducted by industry regulator, CCK. Safaricom has dismissed the findings, saying a similar assessment it undertook using international communications union, I-T-U, parameters indicated that it only came short on just two parameters.
