Police sealed off the venue of a meeting in Limuru convened by former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga to counter the recent Gema, Kamatusa meetings. Police engaged Maina Njenga supporters who were trooping for the meeting in running battles, the officers used tear gas to disperse the rowdy crowd.
