Ezekiel Mutua now goes after Millie, Waruguru over inappropriate language

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua on Tuesday hit out at women leaders who use inappropriate language during public functions.

Mutua took issue with Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo and Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru who made seemingly vulgar remarks over the weekend.

The KFCB CEO stated that women leaders should be a paragon of virtue and morality and described their utterances as a shame.

“Using sexual innuendo and obscene epithets on fellow leaders in public like Millie Odhiambo and Cate Waruguru did over the weekend is a new low - shameful and disgusting.

“These are otherwise smart ladies who should be a model for our young girls, but the disgusting filth about "Zaa kwanza kabla uongee juu ya BBI" by Cate Waruguru and "Tulimalizana na yeye sitting room bila condom" by Millie Odhiambo on fellow politicians must be condemned,” said Mutua.

Adding that the two leaders must apologise for their utterances.

Mutua also asked churches to ban the politicians from speaking in places of worship unless they repent.

“Churches should ban them from speaking in the hallowed places of worship unless they repent. Self-respecting organizations should never accord these two any opportunity to speak to sane people.

“If we value morality and common decency, we must hold our leaders to account for this kind of pathetic talk,” he said.
