Pwani university students on Monday morning staged demonstrations in their institution in an attempt to have their grievances heard by the administration.
This activity, however, did not rest well with the school’s administrators who resorted to seeking the intervention of the General Service Unit (GSU).
A twitter user, Sanaan Juma, went online and expressed displeasure towards a manner in which the administration allowed officers to handle the students.
“Police brutality against Pwani University students. The University administration has always acted like they own the GSU”.
“Let the GSU be stopped from causing too much violence before it’s too late. We can’t allow violence”.
