A video showing Asian students in a classroom being taught one of Kenya’s mother tongues, Gikuyu, has gone viral.
The undated video which was posted on Facebook by Kenya’s popular comedian Daniel Ndambuki also known as ‘Churchill’, has gained a lot of amusements from netizens.
In the video, the teacher, whose identity is yet to be known, is heard pronouncing words such as ‘cucu’ and ‘guka’ which means grandmother and grandfather respectively.
The students are then seen repeating the same words enthusiastically.
Most Kenyans on social media responded to the video applauding the teacher for taking the initiative to have a Kenyan native language taught in the Asian Community.
