Award-winning photojournalist and Activist Boniface Mwangi was arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday 6 May.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Boniface said that the DCI arrested him from his house and are taking him to the Central Police Station.
The cause of his arrest is yet to be confirmed.
“I have been arrested by @DCI_Kenya from my house. We are headed to Central Police Station. I haven't been told the reason for my arrest,” said Boniface.
