Duale loses two family members in tragic accident

National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale is mourning the loss of two members of his family in a road accident.

Through a post on social media, the legislator revealed that he had lost his cousin sister who was travelling together with her daughter.

“We woke up to sad news following a road accident that took the lives of my cousin sister Habiba Sheikh Abdullahi and her daughter Dr. Deyman.

“We pray to the Almighty God to grant them eternal peace and give comfort and subra to our family,” he wrote.

Paying tribute to the two, Duale added: In Quran, Allah Almighty says: “What! Did you think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would not be brought back to Us? Exalted be Allah, the True King.

“Allah Almighty says, “Every self will taste death. You will be paid your wages in full on the Day of Rising. Anyone who is distanced from the Fire and admitted to the Garden, has triumphed.

“The life of this world is only the enjoyment of delusion.”

Netizens also sent their condolences to Duale and his family during this difficult period, asking God to grant them strength.
