How insensitive can some people be? This is the question some county residents are asking themselves after their deputy Governor launched what has been interpreted as sexist attacks against a female county executive committee (CEC) member.
In all meetings attended by the county executive, the deputy county boss is accused of declaring to the public that the officer is not married despite her stellar academic qualifications.
This has incensed many people, with some women leaders coming to the defense of the single top county official.
“It is not a crime to be a single, highly educated and a top professional woman.
The Deputy Governor should stop sexually harassing the CEC,” demanded an agitated gender activist.
