It was end of the road and a close shave for a former Meru MCA after he was busted in the act with a married woman.
The MCA is currently battling for his life at the Consolata Hospital in Nkubu town after deep cuts were inflicted on his head by a neighbour who caught him having sex with his five months pregnant wife.
Interestingly, Luka Kiugu, who caught his wife, Purity Kajira with Mheshimiwa munching the forbidden fruit in his matrimonial bed, has reported the matter to police.
"As mhesimiwa was rushed to Consolata Hospital in Nkubu town for treatment, Kiugu went to report the matter at Muujwa police post," said a neighbour who sought anonymity.
Imenti Central Police boss Elijah Maina said they had launched investigations over the assault.

“It is true we are investigating a case of assault but l cannot go into details and say someone was caught with someone’s wife. We are waiting for the complainant to get out of hospital so that he can record a statement with us,” Maina said.
