Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior has assured the country he is well after choking while having lunch on Wednesday afternoon in Kapsabet town.
According to an eyewitness account, the Senator choked on food and later excused himself to go to the washrooms before he was rushed to hospital.
“I am well. I did not collapse,” wrote the Senator on his official Twitter handle.
Netizens were quick to wish him a quick recovery as he confirmed that indeed he choked.
