Manchester United are close to making their second signing of 2018

Jose Mourinho has been looking for a world-class central midfielder to replace Michael Carrick and possibly Marouane Fellaini.

Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic according to reports.

According to The Mirror, the Man United manager has agreed a whopping 80 million euro summer deal for Savic.

The Serbian has scored 13 goals for Lazio this season and his huge presence in the midfield has caught the eye of Jose Mourinho.

The 23-year-old joined Lazio from Belgian outfit Genk.

He also stated that he will have to replace Marouane Fellaini in case he leaves.

Mirror also reports that Mourinho used Mateja Kezman, Savic's agent to convince the Serbian to join Man United. Kezman was one of Mourinho’s first signings as a manager in England.
