30-year-old Bogolo Joy Kenewendo is Botswana’s new Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry.
She is one of the ministers appointed by President Mokgweetsi Masisi.
She is now being celebrated all over social media for being one of the youngest minister’s in Botswana’s Parliament.
She was elected to parliament first in 2016.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Botswana. She also holds a masters in International Economics from Sussex University in the UK.

She was part of former President Ian Khama’s Private-Public Dialogue structure – a body aimed at taking on the struggles of Botswana’s private sector.
Social media has gone haywire after her appointment, many not believing such a young beautiful lady can hold such a heavy position in Government.
