Why paranoid Governor is spying on his workers

A governor is no longer sitting pretty on the plum job. The county boss is reported to be uncomfortable with some senior officials in his government, whom he accuses of working in cohort with his enemies to bring his administration down.

Insiders say the politician doesn’t now trust anyone in the county government. He feels some of those working with and for him are spies planted in his administration.

He has since embarked on a mission to be counter checking on who talks to who and when and why just to ensure he is safe.

The suspicion and mistrust, the Grapevine, has learned informed the recent purge where senior officials in the finance department were shown the door.
