Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has suggested to Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo that he replace National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga as the Luo community kingpin.

This was after NASA managed to 'swear-in Raila Odinga as the 'People's President' in a packed Uhuru Park on January 30.

The controversial MP told the lawyer to “lead the luo people out of bondage” after Raila had been sworn in as ‘People’s President’ at Uhuru Park on January 30.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka skipped the event, leaving Raila to be sworn in alone. Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and FORD Kenya head Moses Wetang'ula also snubbed the much-anticipated oath-taking ceremony.

In a post seen by Ureport, Kuria said, “Dear Otiende Amollo. This is your moment. Seize it. Lead the Luo people out of bondage. I know for me saying this they will brand you a mole. But greatness was thrust at your feet at Uhuru Park today. Thank me later.”

Otiende Amollo, alongside Siaya Senator James Orengo, was pivotal in the Supreme Court petition that saw the August 8th presidential election declared invalid, null and void.

The Gatundu South MP was against Raila’s swearing-in, mocking the former Prime Minister several times on his social media. Immediately Raila was ‘sworn in’ Kuria wrote:

“Congratulations Baba. You have finally managed what Jaramogi could not. When you get down to the task of forming your administration in Zanzibar, allow me to suggest Dr Frank Njenga as the State House Controller. You need to have your head checked all the time.”

At the moment, Raila is the most popular politician in Nyanza, capable of amassing thousands in a single political rally.
