Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna on Sunday, January 7 attacked Deputy President William Ruto on his Twitter handle.
Miguna Miguna, popular for his harsh perception of Jubilee Party’s way of things termed the DP a punctured tyre who has been sunk by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The author of controversial book ‘Peeling back the Mask’ is a strong supporter of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) which fights for liberation and justice under National Super Alliance (NASA).
He went further ahead and compared the DP to Odinga's experience with the then ruling party years ago. He asked Ruto to cross over and join The NRM.
Mr. @UKenyatta has sank @WilliamsRuto's boat. Ruto is a punctured tire. Kaput. He is putting a brave face, typical of political waggon pushers. He doesn't understand STRATEGY or HISTORY. He is where JARAMOGI was in 1966. Let him return all stolen public assets & join the #NRM!

His tweet comes in a series of many other accusations he has made against the Ruling party in what he simply refers to as the leadership of “the Despotic Duo’.
Miguna’s tweet did not go unnoticed by Kenyans on Twitter. Some of them aired their support for Miguna’s talk while others condemned him.
