Could a Governor who was re-elected on an opposition party ticket from Western Kenya be mulling to join Jubilee?
Tired from being constantly harassed by party stalwarts in
the county who reportedly take instructions from the party boss, a little
birdie has intimated to Grapevine that the patience of the Governor won thin.
The officials reportedly demand hand-outs from the Governor and compel him to fund all the activities of the opposition coalition in the region.
Strategists of the county boss it is understood, have been egging the Governor to jump ship, on the grounds that his party boss can do nothing since Jubilee controls the county assembly and he won’t be contesting for the same seat in 2022, after doing the stipulated two terms.
