Ekuru Aukot's wife should divorce him- Raila Odinga

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga called Thirdway Alliance Party leader Ekuru Aukot a betrayer who should get a divorce from his wife.

He made this remarks on 15th October in a NASA mega rally in Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa. This is following Mr. Aukot’s decision to take part in the October 26 repeat polls which he had earlier vowed not to.

Mr. Aukot is among the presidential candidates whose name is set to be on the ballot paper on the October 26 repeat poll.

He had earlier said he will boycott the process if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is not reformed.

Raila declared that with the betrayal of that kind, Aukot’s wife should give him a divorce.
