Man defiles step-daughter claiming she is ‘fitter and healthier’ than his wife

A 38-year old man has been arrested in Ndhiwa, Homa Bay county for allegedly defiling his 15-year-old  step-daughter.

The man reportedly defiled the minor at Osodo village in Komungu sub- location on  April 26.

Police occurence book records indicate that the man had committed the act on several occasions and had warned the girl he would kill her if she reported to anyone.

However, on April 27, the mother noticed the girl was behaving strangely, prompting her to find out what the problem was.

In a statement, the mother told cops that the minor confessed of feeling pain in her privates and was bleeding.

“I asked her what the problem was since she was crying and limping. She confessed that the man had forced her to have sex on several occasions,” the woman revealed.

Confirming the incident, Komungu assistant chief Kenneth Ogutu said the man was arrested after the minor’s confession.

Ogutu noted that the suspect confessed that he defiled the minor since she was more ‘healthy and fit’ than his wife.

“The minor said the man has been touching her private parts several on diverse dates and defiling her. Upon further interrogation, he claimed that she (the minor) was more healthy and fit than his wife,” said Ogutu.

The man is alleged to have confessed his love to the girl and thanked her for taking care of his sexual needs.

Ndhiwa OCPD Robert Aboki said the suspect will be arraigned in court to answer to the charges

“He is going to answer to the charges. We must find justice for the young girl,” he said.
