Senator Mike Sonko’s daughter, Saumu, was rushed to Nairobi Hospital on Wednesday night, and was in theatre all afternoon, yesterday, after her car was involved in a road accident hours after she suspected she was being trailed.
Saumu, who is a student leader at JKUAT, Karen Campus, had left college in the company of two friends, for Naivasha, when they noticed that a Mercedes Benz was trailing them.
The Black Benz, whose number plate Pulse has since obtained, followed them from Karen to Naivasha where she crushed into a matatu at a police check point and got rescued.
She fractured her nose and got internal injuries after which she was rushed to Nairobi Hospital for treatment.
