Governor Isaac Ruto has reshuffled his County Executive Committee members in a bid to "improve service delivery".
The changes were prompted by the resignation of David Sonoiya who headed the Tourism, Trade, Energy and Industrialisation docket on personal grounds last week.
While announcing the reshuffle on Friday, Mr Ruto confirmed receipt of the resignation letter from Mr Sonoiya.
"I have accepted the resignation letter from Mr Sonoiya. The changes made today are meant to strengthen service execution to our people," he said.
Edda Byegon, who oversaw Urban Planning docket, replaces Samson Menjo as the new Roads and Public Works minister. Menjo moves to the Tourism, Trade, Energy and Industrialisation docket.
