The theft and slaughter of donkeys is on the rise in

Nairobi and its environs. The meat from the animals is reportedly being sold to unsuspecting consumers in the city. So far more than 20 donkeys have disappeared. A spot check in Mihango and Ruai areas revealed fields strewn with donkey carcasses.
