King of Genge Jua Cali, commonly known for his hit single Kwaheri (featuring Sinaipei) and new single, Baba Yao, on Thursday featured on talk2raila, a live web TV interactive platform owned by Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The Prime Minister uses the talk2raila platform to interact with Kenyans from all over world, and to promote youth talent. The platform, domiciled in the PM’s official campaign website (www.raila-odinga.com), allows the Prime Minister to receive questions from Kenyans, which he responds to through a live web TV broadcast, every week.
He uses the platform to feature Kenyan artistes and celebrities from various sectors of the society as a way of promoting their work and exposure.
The session focused discussion on remembering Kenya’s heroes and heroines, with the PM recognizing the role played by artistes in our society.
The PM said Kenya has produced many heroes, outside the area of political leadership and government, adding that most artistes have remained unsung heroes and heroines
