The race to win the 2022-2023 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League title will intensify today (Wednesday) when leaders Gor Mahia and defending champions Tusker resume to action from the two weeks international break.
Gor who are two points clear at the top of the table with 67 points host Kakamega Homeboyz in what promises to be a tough match and challenge for K'Ogalo if their recent head-to-head record is anything to go by.
In their last four meeting, Gor has only picked one win. Homeboyz have two wins including their first leg 1-0 win at Bukhungu in April.
On the other hand, Tusker will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they host Posta Rangers at Ruaraka Grounds.
The brewers stumbled the last time they played where relegation fighting Wazito pulled a shocking 1-0 win against the title chasers at Muhoroni Stadium in Kisumu.
The defeat saw Gor move two points clear but the defending champions are still in the race to win the title.
Eight matches are on the cards as the season enters its final stretch.
