Visram are Mvita rugby champions

Allidina Visram School are the new rugby sevens champions as Mombasa County Mvita sub-county secondary schools term one games concluded yesterday.

The champions defeated Khamisi High 15-0 and drew 12-12 with Tononoka Secondary School to top the three-team discipline.

Tononoka who beat Khamis High 10-0 were second with four points as Allidina but with inferior goals.

However, both teams advanced to represent the sub-county at the Mombasa County games set for next week.

In basketball, both Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa boys and girls teams maintained their unbeaten run after whitewashing their opponents.
