Kenya and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has resumed training with Mauricio Pochettino’s first team.
Through a tweet on August 24th, the London-based club confirmed Wanyama, who was sidelined due to a knee problem, has ‘commenced integration into team training’.
The Kenyan skipper suffered a knee injury during pre-season and has missed Spurs’ first two Premier League matches.
Wanyama will have to work hard to be in Pochettino’s first team as they prepare to travel to Old Trafford on Monday.
He has also been included in the Harambee Stars squad set to face Ghana in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in September.
