Chelsea have hit out Italian side Fiorentina, accusing them for trying to “extort” money from them and Liverpool new boy Mohamed Salah.
Salah, who has moved to Anfield from Roma this summer, and the Premier League champions have been cleared of wrongdoing by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, after a complaint from the Italian club was dismissed.
Salah joined Fiorentina on loan from Chelsea in January 2015 for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
Fiorentina alleged breach of contract when the Egpytian winger moved to Roma on loan for the 2015-16 season in a deal which later became permanent.
