Alvaro Morata has moved closer to joining Manchester United after his agent ruled out a switch to AC Milan.
Morata’s representative Juanma Lopez claimed Real Madrid have rejected Milan’s offer for the Spain international, leaving United as the red-hot favourites to sign him.
Jose Mourinho has made Morata his top striking target and Lopez claims United are a “very interesting option” for the former Juventus hitman.
When asked about the possibility of Morata joining United, Lopez said:

“I can say that this is a very important proposal and now the decision is real.”
United have priced Milan out of the reckoning and they are prepared to pay up to £60million to land Morata, who wants to leave the Bernabeu to start more regularly.
Lopez said: “There have been frequent contacts with Milan until a few days ago, I can confirm.
“But Real Madrid has simply found the Rossoneri club’s offer unsatisfactory.”
