Harambee Stars playmakers Victor Wanyama and Jesse Were have been nominated for the Caf African Player of the Year Award.
Victor Wanyama, who plays for English club Tottenham Hotspur has been shortlisted alongside 29 other players for the African Player of the Year Award.
The midfielder has been recognized for his outstanding performances both the internationally and locally.
Jesse Were who plays for Zambian league champions Zesco United is in the running for the African based Africa player of the year award.
The winners of the various African player of the year award categories will be announced in December.
