If Raheem Sterling thought he was going to have a positive reunion with Liverpool today, he had another thing coming.
The Manchester City forward has just experienced a humbling defeat at the hands of his former employers - the Sky Blues have been trounced 4-1 at home by Jurgen Klopp's men. While Reds fans are overjoyed after Klopp's strong start to his tenure as boss, Sterling and co. will have to regroup and reflect on a bad night all round.
However, if Raheem wants to reflect in peace he'd do well not to check social media for a while. Having given him a rough reception in real life, Liverpool supporters are now flooding the internet with jokes at his expense - though he'll have probably seen these coming, they still won't do his bruised and tender ego much good.
These tweets might be a tad predictable in some cases.
