After their 3-0 victory over Newcastle, Arsenal look nailed on for Champions League qualification for what will be the 17th time in their history. But Arsenal are the most successful Champions League side never to actually win the competition.

Having won 71 games out of their 153 games played, they have won more matches than any other side not to have won a Champions League trophy.

Meanwhile, the competition's most consistent qualifiers, Manchester United, are set to have their record equaled by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Porto.

Liverpool have featured in eight seasons while Manchester City have just played in the last three.
