The incident left the village in shock amid reports that the deceased had quarrelled with his wife at around 5 am, before assaulting her.
Beatrice Chelagat, a relative, said after the argument between the two, the wife left the house to seek medical attention at a nearby hospital, only to find the entire family dead when she came back.
