Tension is brewing among two communities residing at Logoman forest in Mau complex, Njoro Sub County, following cattle theft.
The area DCIO Monicah Berege has said the fight erupted after 12 cows were stolen from one of the communities yesterday night.
"Tension between the two communities was reported today, after youth who were trailing stolen stock were attacked," the investigating officer said.
Police offices have been dispatched to the area to prevent any plans of reiteration.
The police are also collaborating with residents and local administrators to recover the stolen cattle.

"We have launched investigations to arrest individuals causing tension and recover stolen stock," says Berege.
