National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has said if elected President he will deal with corruption and hasten development.
He was speaking at Kimorori grounds in Murang’a when governor aspirant Mr Irungu Wairagu launched his bid. He will vie on a Democratic Party ticket.
Mr Muturi said the unending corruption and leaders pursuing personal interests are the root cause of stalled development.
“The focus should be on the interests of residents who want hospitals and better education.”
