Tiaty MP William Kamket (pictured) has called on Deputy President William Ruto’s supporters to tone down their high expectation for 2022.

Mr Kamket said expectations that Ruto could succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when he retires in 2022 could be a recipe for disaster.

“We have a group of Kenyans who have misread the political mood. This is very dangerous for this country. Reality is now shaping up and it does not favour William Ruto,” he said.

The legislator claimed Ruto would retire alongside Uhuru and a new president will be known come 2022.K
