Nairobi, Kenya: CORD leaders were on Wednesday dressed in school uniform for the Uhuru Park rally convened to show support for the striking teachers.
The Opposition leaders called for the meeting, which is meant to pile pressure on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s jubilee administration, to implement teachers’ salary hike awarded by the Industrial Court in July, this year.
Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa and Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga are among those who wore school uniforms.
