Scores of university students were injured after riot police lobbed teargas canisters at them during a demonstration. Hundreds of Egerton University students, Nakuru campus, yesterday took to the streets to protest over insecurity.
On Tuesday morning, a third year student was found murdered and her body dumped at a vegetable garden.Nakuru OCS Munyoki Ngumbu said the demonstration was illegal and urged students to seek alternative ways to air their grievances.
