Police officers have been having a hard time enforcing the 8 pm to 4 am curfew occasioned by some non-compliant Kenyans.

The law enforcers erected a roadblock along Langata road in Nairobi at 8:30 pm to block non-essential service providers on Monday night.

Several Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates travelling home after completing their exams were left stranded at Railways bus park in Nairobi as matatus were complying with 8 pm curfew time.

Nairobi Regional Police Commander Augustine Thumbi and Langata OCS William Matu led junior police officers along Langata road in the operation.

Thumbi said there was a good response after tightening their operation and urged Kenyans to respect the curfew.
