This marked the latest incident in which police are involved in crime in the country amid plans for mass retraining.

It is the latest incident in which police officers are involved in crime. The officers are supposed to fight the same crime but the trend, though not new and unique is worrying.

On October 2, three police officers were arrested along Nairobi-Garissa highway while transporting 245 kilograms of bhang. They were from Wajir to Nairobi.

At least five police officers are in custody over September incident in which Sh72 million was robbed from a bank in Nairobi West, Nairobi.
