NAIROBI; KENYA: Police have killed four men suspected to be poachers and recovered three elephant tusks in Lang’ata area, Nairobi.
Police say the men were transporting the tusks in a salon car along the Southern Bypass when they were stopped.
Nairobi police boss Benson Kibui says the men instead started to shoot at the officers prompting the shooting that saw four of them killed.
Two others escaped.
