Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho now says he is unable to file tax returns after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) allegedly blocked him online.
Joho says that he was unable to access the system through the KRA online portal after the entry of his PIN number indicated suspended.
Speaking on phone from Saudi Arabia, the Mombasa Governor read malice into the saga saying those behind the move want him to fail to comply to the law that requires returns are filed by end of this month.
"I have been attempting to access the system online to file my returns but it's frustrating. The PIN has been suspended by KRA," Joho said.
Joho’s two brothers are also experiencing a similar issue.
