The five Premier League sides in the Champions League face the prospect of a daunting draw in the round of 16.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea have all secured their place in the first knockout round of the competition.
But despite four of the five sides topping their groups - with Chelsea slipping to second in Group C - difficult draws could be on the cards.
United, City, Liverpool and Spurs could all be pitted against Real Madrid, Juventus or Bayern Munich.
Basel, Sevilla, Shakhtar and Porto also finished second in their groups and can draw an English team, providing they did not face off against them in the group stages.
Chelsea, meanwhile, will face off with a non-English group winner.
Besiktas, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are the only teams that they can be drawn against.
Failure to beat Atletico Madrid on Tuesday meant that they dropped down to second in the group behind Roma, meaning they will face a tricky tie in the round of 16.
