Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has banished Memphis Depay from his first-team plans after the Manchester United forward sought a move away from Old Trafford.
Depay is set for a January departure after struggling to make an impact since his big-money arrival from PSV last season, managing just 20 minutes of playing time in the Premier League under Mourinho’s tenure.
In total, the 22-year-old Netherlands international has only appeared in eight matches in all competitions and he was last seen in the United squad for the Europa League fixture against Feyenoord in November.
