The Government has authorised the Ministry of Education to review term dates for third term, 2015 with exceptions of candidates in Standard 8 and Form 4.
At the same time Teachers’ Service Commission has been advised to ensure all TSC teachers remain in school and continue to prepare their examination candidates.
The Kenya National Examinations Council will continue with the preparation of the 2015 KCPE and KCSE exams as scheduled.
The Ministry of Education is expected to revise the term dates for all primary and secondary schools under its jurisdiction and to communicate new dates in due course.
Technical training institutes, primary and diploma teacher-training colleges are not affected by this directive.
