Martin Babak Lyon was jailed for nine years on Tuesday after he took photos of a girl he had just raped and then threatened to publish them on social media if she told anyone.
Lyon attacked his 16-year-old victim at an address in Buckinghamshire, in November 2012 before trying to stop the girl from talking, Thames Valley Police said.
The 21-year-old, of Chiltern Heights, Amersham, was convicted in February of three counts of rape and one count of taking an indecent photograph of a child, and sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Thomas Gregory said: "The sentence given to Lyon demonstrates that the courts take incidents such as these very seriously.

"I hope the sentence brings some closure to the victim, who was only 16 at the time.
"She was incredibly brave to report the offences to the police and then to give evidence at court.
"I commend the victim for the courage she has demonstrated during this very traumatic period."
