KAKAMEGA, KENYA: Residents of Malava Sub County have called on security apparatus to take measures that will see insecurity in the area curbed.
This comes after two bodies were found strangled with a rope and dumped in the forest on Thursday.
Confirming the incident, Kakamega County police Commander Manegene Warui said two dead bodies were found dumped at Malava forest by passerby around 6.30am.
"The deceased were strangled in the neck by unknown people whose motive is yet to be revealed. Investigations are underway as this is the first incident having been reported to my office," Warui said.
The deceased bodies have been taken to Kakamega County Hospital; Mortuary.
