Versatile Monaco defender Tisserand, who can operate at centre-half and also at right-back, has been the subject of enquiries by both the Gunners and also the Premier League champions Leicester city.
Leicester City are set to rival Arsenal for the signing of highly-rated Monaco defender Marcel Tisserand.
The Gunners are keen to sign a new centre-back before the transfer window closes and have stepped up their interest in Tisserand after missing out on Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi.
However, it is understood Leicester have also launched an enquiry regarding the availability of Tisserand, who can operate at both centre-back and also right-back.
La Liga outfit Espanyol are also believed to be keen on the versatile Tisserand, 23, but the player reportedly wants a move to England.
