Sudanese striker Salah Ibrahim is so far the leading top scorer in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup championships, which reaches the final today in a match between Harambee Stars and Sudan at Nyayo National Stadium.

Salah, who has scored crucial goals for his team on their way to the final, has shaken the net five times. The lethal and speedy striker netted the lone goal that sank Zambia’s Chipolopolo in the semi-finals to set a date with Harambee Stars this afternoon.

Earlier, Salah scored a brace in his team’s 2-0 victory over Ethiopia’s Walia Antelopes in the semis finals at Mombasa Municipal Stadium over the weekend.

Against Eritrea in the Pool C preliminary match, Salah also netted a double in their 3-0 win over Eritrea at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on November 29.

But the statistics could change with two matches on cards for the final match and the play-offs at the same venue (Nyayo National Stadium) this afternoon. Zambia’s Chipolopolo take on Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Stars in the play-offs at 2pm.

Kenya’s central defender Jockins Atudo who plays for Dar’s Azam United has managed three goals tying with Nkana Red Devils’ striker Festus Mbewe of Zambia.
