As is the norm, New York was brought to a standstill on Monday night at the annual Met Gala event. Often described as fashion’s biggest night, celebrities brought out their best looks to play with their striking looks.
With the theme being “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, many attendees took direct inspiration from the Gilded Age, an era that saw America transformed at the end of the 19th century.
