Fashion designer and entrepreneur Agnes Mwikali Vorreiter has been nominated at the Young Achievers Africa Awards in the Best Young Achiever Humanitarian of the Year category.

Popularly known as Nessy Vorreiter online, the reputable design powerhouse, who also is a model and a hypergamy advocate, was nominated alongside other leading African personalities.

Her nomination comes just a year after she was nominated, yet again, in a continental capacity for the AFRONEWS Awards 2023, where she was nominated under the Best African Social Media personality in Germany category.

She will be facing off with some notable names across Africa including Uganda's Spice Diana, Zambia's George Mwanza, Tanzania's Goldlisten Malisa and Ghana's Nana Tea.

The packed category will also see her go head to head with Motaung Magauta (South Africa), Haisa Moolman (Swaziland), Atong Amos (South Sudan) and Arnaud Galuga (Burundi).

The 34-year-old, was born and brought up in Nairobi's Pumwani area.

In a past interview, Nessy, who speaks fluent German and English, spoke of her rise to the top, describing herself as a go-getter who would not let any situation deter her from achieving her goals and rising to the very top.

"I'm a big dreamer," she said. "I've always looked at myself and saw this big girl with big dreams and aspirations and always set out to achieve them, allowing very little to hinder my path and setting my eyes on the prize at all times."

The soft-spoken fashionista is also the founder of the Simply Feminine Network and Afrossy Fashion Designs.

At Simply Feminine Network, Nessy aspires to inspire young women to rise to the top and reach for their dreams, using her own life example as the template for millions of young African women who look up to her and follow her journey online.

Nessy is remained committed to the cause of women from not just Kenya from Africa as a whole. She uses her platform to inspire, educate and support young women.
