Businessman Khalif Kairo is in the spotlight once again after a major disagreement with his former business partner Clement Kinuthia.
Speaking on Iko Nini Podcast, Clement shared screenshots from WhatsApp alleging that Khalif Kairo ruined his marriage.
In the screenshots, Khalif reportedly texted Clement's wife and accused him of infidelity. He did this while he was in Japan and caused their relationship to be strenuous.
According to the screenshots, Khalif Kairo informed Clement's wife that he had been unfaithful for over a year and the woman named 'Sylvia' was her close friend.
Car dealer Clement Kinuthia stated that Kairo's allegations had taken a toll on him both at home and at work. "I had to fight battles at work and at home. The cheating claims did not sit well with my wife," he said.
He candidly shared that the public fallout brought frustrations to his family's lives. Clement Kinuthia added that the biggest victim is his child who is being bullied and mocked in school due to the allegations. He said that the child had not gone to school for a week because other children called him, "child of a fraudster."
When asked if the allegations were true, he fervently denied. Kinuthia said that he has never engaged in infidelity out of respect for his family and marriage. He stated that Kairo's interference destroyed a bond that he and his wife had.
These allegations have shed a light to reasons why the duo broke off their business partnership. The controversy has led netizens to believe that the split was not only caused by business challenges but also personal disputes.
After the shocking revelation, fans took to social media to express their different reactions regarding the matter. Some sympathised with Clement while others were on the contrary opinion.
A user on X called out Khalif Kairo saying, "Face of Judas! Aki ya nani!" Another was sceptic regarding the screenshots by Clement saying, "Looks like a set up! You can save any number under the name Kairo and chat yourself! I'm not buying this."
Surprisingly, another user stated that it was right to expose Clement so that his wife could know the truth. "Kudos Kairo. Fix this nation!"
